I've been actively working on multiple projects and nearly forgot that we were mentioned in "The Knot". My wife says it's a big deal, so here it is.
We've been busy with launching a volume of videos on the new "front door fitness" website, we're working on some intense motion graphics for "Strategic Renewal", and making preparations for a huge summer of over seas projects and weddings.

We are starting the new year with some new projects, new goals and new challenges.

Front Door Fitness: Main Promo

I'm very pleased with the results of the series of promos that I filmed in Kansas City. I used the Canon 5D Mark II for all of it, which was used to film the season finale of House (click the link to read the article).

Due to the small size of the camera, aside from lighting, I'm able to have my entire production company mobile and at the same time produce the best quality video that I've ever captured. Awesome.

A Pre-School Event

I'm filming "The Grumpy Shepherd" for a pre-school in the area. This is a freeze frame of the title being used. DVDs will be sold to parents and grandparents before, during and after the event. The play will be filmed in HD using multiple cameras.

I used the Canon 5D Mark II for the wide shot during the competition. I'm very pleased with the video results.

Intro Graphics for VSA Promo

The US Navy Ceremonial Guard Silent Drill Team way invited to compete in an International Tattoo in Norway in May of 2009. The Navy competed against military units from all over NATO and won first place.

Another reason that I'm proud that I served in the US Navy on board the USS Essex for three years.

Jesse Helms in Post Production

After two months of filming and 20 interviews stored on the computer, post production of the "Helms School Government" documentary short is underway.

An Inbox Studios Wedding

Missouri Ballet Theatre "The Nutcracker"

Happy New Year to everyone. We wanted to kick this year off with some awesome news about Inbox Studios. Our new wedding videography company will kick off this year with an amazing price of 3000 dollars for only the first year. Full HD, 35mm optics, delivered on an Apple TV. 3000 dollars is a steal. After 2010 the Inbox Studios package will jump up to 5000. See the website for all the details.

The Nutcracker

I'll be traveling to St. Louis Missouri for the filming of "The Nutcracker". I'll be also shooting some footage while I'm there for the release of another promo. I'll be away from my computer the entire week that I'm gone. Bethany Ufema will be handling things while I'm away including filming an entire Performance on her own. After she pulls this off she will officially be a part of the team.

Winter Recitals

This is a freeze frame for the soon to be released promo that I'm putting together for the Forest Dance Academy for their performance that is taking place the second weekend in December. The surface that the kid is standing on is an actual picture of ice. Using real textures really helps pull the audience in. It adds a sense of realism to all motion graphics. I heavily encourage for all artists to use textures as often as possible.

FIRST OF ITS KIND

The folks at Pearson's Appraisal Service are continually developing a really cool product that I'm not allowed to disclose but it will indeed provide an amazing work flow and redefine the way appraising is done (especially for people trying to save money). Early on, Pearson's Appraisal was an accomplished business with an excess of 2 million appraisals in 30 years. With over 50 full time appraisers and a support staff that dedicates its time in redefining methodology and proprietary solutions they have come up with a prototype that will provide a whole now outlook on appraising. That's where Ufema Productions comes in. I'll have a bit more to say in the near future so be sure visit again.

Back to Basics

Lifestyle Fitness Center is a fitness center designed to "educate, equip, and inspire clients to achieve their optimal level of health and fitness." In order for LFC to do just that, the company has teamed up with Gray Cook from Functional Movement Solutions. Together, they are reinforcing the importance of not only fitness but movement as well through the Functional Movement Screen (FMS).

The FMS is a "ranking and grading system created to document movement patterns that are key to normal function."* It teaches your how to better build your core by bringing you back to the basics of movement.

Unfortunately, Ufema Productions can not launch the video just yet...therefore, you will have to test your ability to persevere until the full length video is posted on Lifestyle Fitness Center's website. Above is a still shot of what is to come. Notice how the "industrial" effects give the overall picture a feeling of strength and durability - two great attributes to physical fitness.

Ufema Productions & VSA Pair Up!

Even though it is not spring time anymore, Ufema Productions is going to help the Virginia School of the Arts do some "spring cleaning". VSA is noticing how fast the media and social network sites have smitten our society, and they have asked us, Ufema Productions, to help them in this area.

Ufema Productions will be responsible for bringing VSA up to speed on communication with teenagers, parents, dance enthusiasts, and many others though the filming of High-Definition promotions, video networking, and more!
